This design features striking hand-applied 23 karat gold leaf accents. As we cycle the year together side by side, our lives intertwine, lacing over and under, around and through, behind and in front to create a weaving that becomes richer and more complex as each year passes. Twelve double-coin knots framing the six medallions represent the months, and are a traditional symbol of fortune and prosperity.
